也有三个多月没有写什么东西了. 其实发生的事情很多,但总是没有心情写出来. 这不知不觉春天也差不多到了, 被冰雪包围了一冬天的心也该复苏了. 还是说说我这趟回国过年+温哥华面试的经历吧.

原来是打算向老板请假两个星期回家过个年, 想想出国五年这也是第一次回家过年. 也挺激动的. 在回国之前和温哥华的EA (喜欢玩EA GAME 的PS2的朋友应当都知道)已经有过两次phone interview了, 都是在一星期内的两天搞定的. 原本打算如果有on-site interview我也就不回去了. 可过了一个星期公司也没有信. 索性我就在拿到Visa的第二天就定了机票,请了假,买了些东西准备回国了. Now the drama begins!! 在走的前一天公司的事情还是很忙, 头儿急着让我在走之前把一个项目finish. 那天估计很晚才回家. 吃完饭收拾完东西也有十点多, 晚上也不打算睡了, 那就surf the internet好了.这才发现EA当天给我个面试的机会,定在一个星期以后(it almost killed me!!!)

看到这里你估计是想笑, 我可是哭笑不得. 经过一晚上的反复斗争,我还是选择了个两全其美的方法. 回国一星期, 改掉回来的机票参加面试(毕竟能hook up with such a big company is not that easy). 估计下两个星期的事情你也猜个差不多了. 回家过了五天,满足了父母的心愿; 之后急急赶回, 赶上了这长达4个小时的interview.

回Ottawa后就生病了,在家里休息了一个星期. 最终EA 没有选择我. 现在回过头来想想那时还真是悖. 回家连屁股还没做稳就回来; 面试后连Vancover都没机会好好看一看. 时间和经历全打发在了路上. 不过从另一方面来说还是个很有趣的two-week life experiences. 走了很多地方,见到了家人,认识了朋友,而且取得了经验. 也不是没有收获的.

A Final Fantasy Fan

Wo!Wo!Wo! After 140 hours of days and nights fighting, I have finally finished FFXII today. I did not intend to board strahl and fly to Bahamut to finish the final battle of the game, even though I have almost finished all the side-requests and reached the level of 55 for all the characters. The reason is simple --- 100%. Subconciously I guess I do not wanna say good-bye to this game just yet. Like all other real gamers commented this game. I truly deeply love it. Not mentioning its new 3-D camera view feature which gives us an inhenced beautiful GUI, the story is just lovely. I have been searching all afternoon online for its gorgeous video ending and all the soundtracks. I also found out the FFXII is underway and will be the first game of this series to be released on PS3. I guess I have no choice but to get one PS3 --- blaming myself as a loyal FF lover. Anyway, I just wanna thank Square Enix for continuouly developing such a wonderful game serie. I hope the XIII would be even better than XII. Wish all the best.

Guess this is it--- a part of me living in this virtual internet world. As a mid-twenty years old young man who just graduated from U of T, I have started to realize my reason to be involved in this side of the world. I can not deny my university life is colorful yet a mass. There is always a twist mind in myself that counteract with each other. Now as an employee working in a small company, I started to look at myself as a member in this society. This is why I wanted to create this blog as a diary for myself so that I can occasionally come back laughing off how stupid I was and filling in more thoughts for later.
